Kelly and Daniel's 'Classic Glamour 'Wedding Featured on Stone Fox Bride

Kelly + Dan

Our first date was at a cocktail bar called Jaybird.

We met via Tinder. Dan was my first “match” and we began chatting a bit on the app before planning a drinks date for that Thursday night. I thought he was classically handsome and seemed very kind. I deleted the Tinder app on Friday.

Our first date was the Thursday before Thanksgiving. We chatted about all the usual stuff (work, family, hobbies, etc.) at a cocktail bar called Jaybird in our neighborhood and then decided to continue the night at a dive bar with a jukebox at which we took turns playing songs for the rest of the night. When I went home that following Thursday for the holiday, I told my Mom and Aunt I had met my husband. I had never said anything like that before.

We really started to talk about marriage itself about 18 months into our relationship. He proposed in Central Park. I’m an event planner by trade so I was SUPER excited to plan the wedding of my dreams and do it our way. We found our venue 501 Union in Brooklyn with the help of my Matron of Honor, Amy. The venue has a very glitzy, 1920’s vibe melded with modern lighting and fixtures. We had about 160 friends and family in attendance. We couldn’t have been more blessed with clear blue skies

We each recited the same lines to each other and my favorite was the first one: Daniel Robert Harbison ~or~ Kelly Carroll Crossett, "I believe in you. In the person you will grow to be and the couple we will grow together". Our Band, Silver Arrow Band, was amazing. And the dance floor was packed the entire night. The wedding ended around 11:15pm to chants for "One More Song"!
