August Sage and Violet is a floral design Studio based in New York City.  Branded in the summer of 2011, we embrace the the philosophy that flowers have a power to engage the senses and transform spaces, here, we consistently work to create Highly Curated, Passionate and Eclectic Design through the poetics and nuances of florals.

A New York native, founder and creative director, Rhonda Smith, branded August Sage and Violet in the summer of 2011 drawing inspiration and strength from her Caribbean roots and two decades of honing her craft and engaging floral design as an artistic form. Rhonda's formal study of the visual arts adds an artistic and transformative nature to her design.

But it is the generations of family history in floral design that truly sets Rhonda apart, with each arrangement weaving together a rich tapestry of tradition. At August Sage and Violet, we are proud to offer the unique blend of passion, expertise, and creativity that Rhonda brings to every vision.
